Digital change<\/strong>, public innovation<\/strong> and tourist intelligence<\/strong> are the essential drivers of the Network of Smart Tourist Destinations<\/strong>, an essential national date organised by the State Secretariat for Tourism through SEGITTUR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This Meeting, organised in partnership with Vitoria-Gasteiz city council<\/strong> and the \u00c1lava provincial authority<\/strong>, brought together over 180 destination managers<\/strong> from around Spain to discuss current and future challenges to the model, a constantly-growing ecosystem that seeks to optimise destination management on the basis of sustainability<\/strong>, governance<\/strong>, accessibility<\/strong> and public innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It consisted of three days of work<\/strong> under the slogan “People who make destinations: The intelligence that transforms tourism”<\/strong>, offering a comprehensive programme featuring expert lectures, technical discussion panels, the participatory space Tourist Sustainability World Caf\u00e9<\/strong> and activities to pool good practices between destinations.<\/p>\n

Eventokia<\/strong> has organised the whole of the 8th Meeting of Managers of the Network of Smart Tourist Destinations (DTI)<\/strong>, coordinating each phase in the project to ensure the success of the event. From planning and production to logistics management and technical coordination<\/strong>, we work to create a meeting place that encourages the pooling of knowledge, collaboration between professionals and driving innovation<\/strong> in the smart tourism field.<\/p>\n

The event is run in line with sustainability criteria<\/strong>, incorporating measures aimed at minimising its environmental impact, optimising its use of resources and fostering good practices<\/strong> in event organisation. In this way we help to offer a quality experience<\/strong> for speakers, institutions and attendees, aligned with the values of innovation, accessibility and sustainable development<\/strong> promoted by the DTI Network.<\/p>\n
