Conceived as a point of contact between companies from both the public and private sectors, Merkalan is a hybrid job fair for people and organizations looking for new opportunities. Under the slogan “Employment and companies with values and future – Companies with purpose, people with skills: the road to business and professional success” Eventokia formulated and managed the Merkalan 2024 fair.
The event was held at FICOBA, the Gipuzkoa fairgrounds. As in previous years, users were offered the option of accessing the event virtually for several days, making it easier for users to attend the meeting. A fair driven by the improvement of conditions, conciliation and communication between the various agents in the employment sector.
Eventokia managed the participation of 86 entities, companies and training center associations as well as the attendance of 1,219 people in person and 5,399 virtual people. The fair was conceptualized in different ways such as the area of stands and audits, the different “txokos”, the inaugural conference in the auditorium and the virtual and face-to-face attendance.
During the event we counted with the presence of great personalities such as the Vicelehendakari Mikel Torres, the Deputy Minister of Employment and Inclusion Alfonso Gurpegui, the General Director of Lanbide Francisco Pedraza and the Director of Labor Activation of Lanbide María Teresa Martínez.
