Eventokia organized VI Meeting of Managers of the Network of Smart Tourist Destinations in Tenerife. This meeting, which was held from 23 to 25 April and brought together more than 150 managers from over 100 destinations. Its objective was to generate synergies, transfer knowledge and exchange experiences and concerns to share the work developed in their territories.
Once again this year, SEGITTUR, which reports to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and is attached to the Secretary of State for Tourism, entrusted Eventokia with the conceptualization and comprehensive management of this meeting.
The meeting provided a space for the exchange of ideas and collaboration among professionals in the tourism sector. For three days, experts and authorities shared knowledge on the digitization and sustainability of tourism destinations. Highlights included round tables on tourism intelligence, sustainability and accessibility, as well as sessions on technological infrastructures for the digitization of destinations.
In addition, working meetings were held in thematic groups, visiting emblematic places such as the historic center of La Orotava. Also, closing dinners were held each day, among them, the Finca Tradicional Canaria, offering a unique gastronomic experience that allowed participants to continue networking in a cozy and authentic atmosphere.
